Vacation and New Year’s vows
I have definitely missed my vow, that during my vacation I will write our company blog. I had sort of a motion picture concept: that I would be writing this blog whilst sitting on deckchair, drinking coconut milk and watching my three kinds from a distance. It did not work out. Well it did, apart of me writing a single word. So I sit here at home on our sofa, drinking hot cup of tea, kids are sleeping and it certainly does not look like a movie at all.
It is the beginning of the year and I must admit that the first two calendar months are my least favorite, it feels like an event that has just ended – you have to pack it all up, clean up, lock the doors and think about what is ahead.
I have been having this feeling ever since I started this company. I always draw an imaginary line, like I am starting from the scratch, even though it’s stupid, but hey it works for me. I start to work from the scratch. I speed up during spring, when summer comes I’m at full pace. Fall and winter are my favorite, because it is the top part of season for us, we are completely overbooked, fainting from exhaustion, but it really is electrifying and a cheerful time. This is how it somehow goes round and round for years, but I haven’t had a feeling that it is a killing routine.
Nevertheless it is still February and I am at my unpopular speeding up phase, my post in this blog, as everything else, is starting slowly. Actually it is starting so slowly that it has reached its end…
